Metal Slug Attack is a tower defence game developed by SNK Play more for Android mobile devices. The game is a sequel to Metal Slug Defence and offers tons of improvements and new game modes. This version comes with all characters and upgrades from previous versions of the game.
In the starting mode of the game, you have to do various tasks that will allow you to become stronger. It has many stages and each of these stages you have to overcome. At its core, the game is a 2 D 1 v 1 sub-genre of tower defence and strategy.

It is a tower defence game where you need to earn points to add units to the battlefield. When the field is clear, attack the base, destroying the oncoming enemies. When the game starts, armies automatically start accumulating action points (or AP for short), which are used to produce units that advance towards the enemy base.
They can launch attacks, construct objects to hinder opponents, support allies, or produce additional units for free. Destroying enemy units grants small amount of AP. Units you deploy have both standard attacks (melee and/or ranged) and special attacks.
If a unit is within range of an enemy, it will launch a normal attack. After a predetermined amount of time, special attacks become available, indicated by a sky-blue “aura” surrounding the unit, and activated by tapping the unit or pressing the “Attack” button. To gain an edge in battle, players can purchase power-ups.
